Kevin M. Goldberg is a member of the law firm of Fletcher, Heald & Hildreth, P.L.C. His expertise is in First Amendment, Freedom of Information Act, and intellectual property issues, particularly copyright and trademark matters encountered by content creators and users, with a particular eye toward threats affecting publication on the Internet.

Kevin serves as both counselor to and advocate for several major press organizations including, among others, the American Society of News Editors and the Association of Capitol Reporters and Editors (the nation's only trade association for reporters covering state government).  He assists the firm's clients -- especially its broadcast and Internet clients -- on a wide variety of intellectual property matter, advising them on the steps which can be taken to avoid copyright and trademark infringement liability while maximizing their own rights and implementing those steps by, among other things, writing Terms of Use and Privacy Policies for client websites which avail themselves of all legal protections including, specifically, Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act and Section 512 of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
