Brooke Christofferson was named Vice President of Market and Business Development at Republic Media (The Arizona Republic) in Phoenix, Arizona in July 2010. She has been with Republic Media for 12 ½ years in various marketing and advertising roles including director of market and business development, senior marketing manager, communications manager, and advertising account executive.

Prior to joining Gannett, Christofferson worked in marketing and public relations for Bethphage, a non-profit organization in Des Moines, Iowa.

Christofferson is a graduate of Simpson College (Indianola, Iowa) with BA degrees in communication studies and political science. She also earned her MBA from the WP Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Christofferson was named a top 20 under 40 by Presstime Magazine in 2008 and serves on the Board of Directors for Free Arts of Arizona.

Christofferson’s hobbies include traveling, watching sports, reading, spending time at the dog park with her dogs, and visiting her three young nephews.
