Jack Saunders was named VP/Circulation at The Arizona Republic in Phoenix in July 2010. He had been the Director of Circulation since June 2008 and Director of Circulation Administration since January 2000.

Prior to joining The Arizona Republic, Jack held the position of Circulation Director for The Times Herald-Record in Middletown, NY. He has also held the Circulation Director position in Passaic, NJ for The North Jersey Herald-News and in Poplar Bluff, MO at The Daily American Republic. Jack started his career in the newspaper industry as a District Manager at The Telegraph Herald in Dubuque, IA in 1984.

Jack is a graduate of Iowa Wesleyan College with a degree in Business Administration. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the East Valley, New York State Circulation Manager’s Association and is a past president of the Circulation Manager’s Association of New Jersey. .

Jack and his wife, Amy, have three children. Their hobbies include karate (they all have black belts), music, movies, and travelling around the country to attend sporting events.
