Arnie Robbins became executive director in July 2012. A retired editor of the St. Louis Post Dispatch, he had been a longtime member of ASNE before joining the staff.
Le Anne Wiseman joined the staff in October 2012, bringing more than 15 years of program management experience to her position. Most recently, she worked with the National Freedom of Information Coalition.
Cindy Roe joined the staff in October 2012. She has a bachelor's degree in accounting and 30 years experience at small- to mid-sized companies. She has also worked for nonprofits, most recently as financial officer for the Reynolds Journalism Institute.

Megan Schumacher joined the staff in December 2012. She has more than five years of experience designing, editing and writing at community newspapers in Missouri and Florida. She is a graduate of the Missouri School of Journalism.
Laura Orozco joined the ASNE staff in January 2013 after graduating from the Missouri School of Journalism. As a student, she held various marketing internships at organizations including the MU Graduate School, the Center for Agroforestry, and most recently, the Mizzou Alumni Association. She specializes in web content development, social media engagement and member recruiting and retention.
Kevin Goldberg has served as legal counsel to ASNE since 1996. He works closely with the Freedom of Information Committee and writes frequently for the ASNE website and newsletter on free press and open government issues. He is also a regular contributor to CommLawBlog published by his firm, Fletcher Heald & Hildreth. ASNE members may contact Kevin for guidance or referral on issues affecting them locally.
