Once you log in, then click on "Member Registration" again to begin the process. If you are not an ASNE member, then click on the red "Nonmember Registration" button in the top right corner to register as a nonmember.
The registration fee is $275 for members of ASNE and APME and $375 for nonmembers.
Special rates are also available for retired members, spouses, students and APME's Regents.
Lunch tickets are not included in the price of registration. Don't forget to purchase Monday and Tuesday lunch tickets during registration. If you did not purchase lunch tickets at the time of registration, then you can do so through the online store.
If you can't attend the entire convention, then register for individual days for $150 per day on Monday and Tuesday.
If you are a student, then you can register here for only $50.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, the first workshop will address the role of community engagement for news organizations and how to build trust with their audiences and communities. Best practices and examples of community engagement will be incorporated. Attendees will emerge from the workshop better equipped to engage readers and strengthen trust in quality journalism.
From 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, the second workshop will provide an update on Knight Foundation's "Table Stakes" project and present newsrooms of innovation and culture that are best for the 21st century.

RECEPTION WITH THE AUSTRALIAN AMBASSADOR
Party with Joe Hockey, Australian ambassador to the United States, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, at his beautiful residence! We will have cocktails, snacks and some quality time for a Q&A and other fun, engaging conversations. This stand-up reception, limited to 80 people on a first-come, first-served basis, is open to those who are registered and made a hotel reservation for the conference. A terrific group rate is available at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park for $249/night Friday, Oct. 6, through Wednesday, Oct. 11. Reservations must be made by 6 p.m. EDT Tuesday, Oct. 3 (no extension after this date). Make a reservation online here. When you make your reservation, feel free to request a room in the Center Tower, which would put you closest to the conference space.
